Barry Roubaix is the largest gravel road bicycle race in the country. It takes place in Barry County, in Hastings, Michigan.

For us is the start of the biking season, there is still lots of snow in the roads and at starting time the temperature was around 32 degrees. After barely training indoors for the last few months it feels a lot harder than other races later in the season.

The race was very well organized, and after that hard race a big Founders Brewing  beer truck was waiting.  Gordon Water offered free coffee, Big Burrito was also there; plus pulled pork and pizza. So no shortage of drinks or food.

I love shooting this bike events, there is the energy and excitement, and with my love for biking is a real joy.
