Last week I had the amazing opportunity to participate in Help Portrait.

Help Portrait is an event that where hair stylists, makeup artists and photographers come together to help people in need. These vents are help all over the world. This year 25 countries, 323 events, gave out 38916 portraits!

All the people who attended the event left with a printed portrait, a flash drive with all the images taken of them, a frame and looking good from the amazing work of the hair stylists and make up artists. It is a small gesture to tell people that they matter, they matter to our community. In this day and age where cameras and cellphones are everywhere, It is amazing to see people that haven’t had a portrait in 20 years; or any kind or photo taken!
