Last year, I was with my mom at the hospital, so I couldn’t do The Susan G. Komen Race for The Cure in Kalamazoo. This weekend we celebrated one year of the surgery and going strong, so what a better way to celebrate that doing this race!

After I signed up for the race I was contacted to shoot it, so I did both. Took lots of photos of the smiley faces, hopeful participants and very happy survivors. After that, did the 5k in 87 degree weather, while running I was wishing I stayed just shooting… 😉
