I grew up by the Caribbean sea. Our vacations were filled with sail trips to islands and pristine beaches and even crossed the Atlantic on a sail boat; so all this cold and snow is not what I was used to. When I moved to the US, my first experience with winter wasn’t very enjoyable, I didn’t ike to have to bundle up everyday and I like to spend lots of time outside. Now, after a few years, I have a confession to make. I actually LIKE winter. I have learnt to enjoy it and appreciate it. I cross country ski every week, slide down snow hills with my kids, ski and skate. From the photography point of view is very interesting to see the seasons change, to shoot all that white snow and lifeless trees. So I hope you don’t get tired of seeing more white images, because we still have some more weeks to go…
