Get ready for your graduation photo session
A few thing to keep in mind to make your photo session a success!
-Family members are welcome! We will do some portraits of the students and some family photos.
-Take care of yourself. Have plenty of rest the night before, stay hydrated and eat something before your session so feel and look your best.
-Don’t wait until the day of the photos to take cap and gown out of the bag, it will have fold marks!
-Make sure you gown is ironed and free of lint and stains.
-If you are decorating your cap, do it before the session, so we can take great photos of your decor.
-I recommend you wear the same outfit you’re wearing on graduation day. If it is colors that contrast with the cap and gown, even better!
-If you have a stole or cords, bring them for the session too.
Props:
You’re welcome to bring props, such as flowers, textbooks, signs, college apparel, champagne. pets.
Other things to bring: small towel (we might sweat a little), water bottle, make up and hair brush.
*I am an environmentally-friendly photographer, plus, some items are not allowed at the park. so I have a list of prohibited items. Please do not bring any of these items to your session.
What not to bring:
- Smoke bombs
- Sparklers
- Non-biodegrable glitter (biodegradable glitter is fine)
- All forms of confetti, including paper, plastic and flower petals
Why are paper confetti and flower petals banned if they’re biodegradable?
My biggest issue is that it makes a huge mess and ruins for the next grad and photographer. Imagine if you wanted
to take photos at a popular photo spot, and the person before you messed it up with confetti all over the ground.
Arrive a few minutes early and have fun!
In you’re in South Florida and need a photography session, I serve Miami-Dade and Broward counties!
