Last week I had an amazing sailing trip to the Sea of Cortez in Mexico. Leaving form the port of La Paz we sailed for a week, stopping at different islands every day. It really helps to have good friends with boats!
I’ve had many different sailing experiences throughout my life, and very one has been unique. This one had the added bonus of great company and my whole family enjoyed a great vacation. *about other sailing experiences I’ll write later since some are long stories.
What do I like about sailboats? many things! It brings back good memories of my childhood, when I sailed with my family in Venezuela; also for me, when you sail, it is not only about the destinations, it is also about the journey, getting there is so peaceful and noiseless that it’s really relaxing…unless you have bad weather and the whole sailing experience can be stressful, but still exciting.
I’ll be posting different stories about the trip, here some of my favorite beaches….I’ll be dreaming of these in the middle of winter here in Michigan.
