Great Sand Dunes National Park is an spectacular place. It’s the contrast between the plains, mountains, and of course the dunes. The climb is hard, tiring and not good for the cameras. I kept mine in a zip log plastic bag and took it out only to take the photos. At the top the wind took off and the sand blasting effect gave me a nice peeling on my skin, so my cameras had to stay inside the plastic bag, inside the backpack; and still I spent an hour cleaning them out that evening…
