Should we still photograph during covid times? If we take all the necessary precautions, the answer is yes. It is important to document not only milestones that are taking place during this time, but also our day to day and the beauty around us.

It is very important to do so in a safe way, so my clients and I are both safe.

👉🏼 These are a few things I’m doing…

👁 Choice of lenses: I’m using longer lenses than before to be able to get the images at a safe distance. I used to get really close to my subjects to interact more, now I just speak louder 😉

😷Mask and sanitizer: I’m wearing a mask at all times for your protection and mine.

👫🏽 Hands free posing: When helping my subjects on how to pose, I’m doing so from a distance and by mirroring what they should do, no more taking your hand and putting it in the right place.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 Not going to crowded places: All shoots are taking place at safe locations like open fields, clients back yards and beaches. Urban settings and busy places are out for the time being.

💉 Testing: Although I’m taking all the precautions, I’ve been getting tested every week. Just to make sure!

💓Empathy and flexibility: I understand these are uncertain times for all of us. So I’m being more flexible about rescheduling.
