  • Often, when I do photo shoots with kids, parents stress out a lot about how they need to behave, how they should address me and how they have to pose for the pictures. I try to convince them that, for the couple of hours that the shoot will last, we’re not raising model citizens. Parents don’t need to impress me with how well mannered they kids are. What I really want is to capture genuine moments, I want to see how they interact with each other, capture them as lively as they are and get a real smile, not the one saying “cheese”.Just let them be, when they comfortable and ready they will do what I ask them to -well sort of-. It is not my task to educate them, just to capture who they are…
