What is a Lifestyle session?

Lifestyle sessions are  casual, not as posed, focused on capturing family memories and the true interaction between loved ones in their own home or natural environment. They essentially document real life moments. Although there may be some baby posing done, the focus is on more natural images. Lifestyle session is very different from a studio photography session. Most of the photos of newborns you see where the baby is perfectly posed and props are used, are studio type shots and not lifestyle shots; nothing wrong with those, but my approach is centered around the real moments in this crucial part of your new baby’s life. The first few weeks (or years 😉 ) are hectic, chaotic and ….priceless. Let me capture the truth of your reality; your precios baby, cuddles, feeding and even some crying. Your house might not be perfectly clean and tidy, but that precious bundle of joy is the new center of the universe. I want to capture the sweetness of those newborn perfect toes and expression of joy when daddy is trying to put the baby to sleep. I want to have images of mom staring at her new precious baby. I want you to have photos of your toddler cuddling his new baby sister or even your pet looking curious and protective of the newborn.
