The 2016 South Beach Triathlon, produced and presented by Life Time and part of the 11-race Life Time Tri Series, was a success, celebrated last Sunday, April 3 in Miami Beach. The race serves as a fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®, which is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. The South Beach Triathlon has raised more than $1.5 million for the kids of St. Jude. I was accompanying the Discovery Channel team that raised nearly 20,000$ for the cause.
